American Steel and Aluminum Expands Syracuse Manufacturing Operations

American Steel and Aluminum has opened a new 50,000-square-foot facility in Syracuse, New York, to increase production capacity for growing demand in data centers, defense, energy, and industrial manufacturing.
New Syracuse Facility
The new site is the company’s second facility in Syracuse and adds space for steel processing, fabrication, and fulfillment. The company said the expansion will help handle larger production volumes and reduce delivery times.
Company President Sam Blatchford said demand has increased from customers involved in data center infrastructure, defense programs, and energy projects that want domestic manufacturing partners.
More Manufacturing Space
American Steel and Aluminum has facilities in Maine, Massachusetts, New York, and New Hampshire. With the new Syracuse site, the company now has more than 450,000 square feet of manufacturing and processing space.
The company uses a vertically integrated production model that manages operations from raw domestic steel through finished products, with customers in shipbuilding, renewable energy, battery storage, and industrial manufacturing.
